Community Engagement

The department undertakes a number of community engagement activities. Information sessions and stalls have been held at locations throughout Western Sydney at different stages of the project, answering questions and providing information to thousands of community members.

Information for industry

On Monday 26 June 2017 an Industry Information session will be held in Western Sydney for experienced businesses interested in design, procurement and construction opportunities presented by the Western Sydney Airport. The session will provide information on future tendering opportunities on the airport project. Read more about the event on the information session page.

Where we have been

During the public exhibition period for the draft Airport Plan and draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) from 19 October to 18 December 2015, a number of drop-in community information sessions were held across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains in Blacktown, Blaxland, Bringelly, Campbelltown, Emu Plains, Glenbrook, Liverpool, Luddenham, Minchinbury, Narellan, Parramatta, Prairiewood, St Marys, Warragamba and Wentworthville.
